TOLEDO, OH, January 13, 2024 /24-7PressRelease/ — Students interested in applying for financial support ahead of an undergraduate or graduate year now have the opportunity to submit applications for Groth & Associates’ “Survivors Speak: Moving Forward Through Hardship” scholarship. The scholarship promises $1,000 in financial aid to a student in need.
Groth & Associates specifically wants to recognize and support a student who has overcome seemingly insurmountable odds at some point in their life. The firm requests that applicants submit 30 to 60-second videos describing the obstacles they’ve faced and the methods they’ve used to overcome them.
The firm’s scholarship selection committee also encourages students to think about the way the challenges that they faced have changed their goals for the future. Students can use their 30 to 60 seconds to discuss how the tenacity they learned in the face of undue hardship will help them overcome similar obstacles in the future.
Groth & Associates requests that students upload edited video essays to YouTube as unlisted videos. Students can then submit a link to those unlisted videos to the law firm as part of their scholarship applications.
The scholarship selection committee will only consider scholarship applications submitted with all essential materials. The firm will disregard scholarship applications from students who do not meet eligibility criteria, incomplete applications, or applications submitted after the scholarship’s deadline.
