Serene Zimmerman age 14 of Bridgeport wins Blue Ribbon for her White Chocolate Chip / Butterscotch Blondies at The State Fair of Texas.
BRIDGEPORT, TX, October 26, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ — Winning isn’t new for Serene. She has two other Blue Ribbons from The State Fair of Texas from 2021. Serene is an accomplished baker and cook who always delivers delectable dishes whether it’s at home for her family, dishes for a church pot luck, or a unique dish for The State Fair of Texas competition.
Serene’s Blondies were a favorite of the judges this year at The State Fair of Texas in Dallas. The judging took place on Sunday, October 9th at the fairgrounds in Dallas. Awards were announced just after mid-day on the 9th.
Serene said: “This year was my first time to enter Blondies in The State Fair of Texas competition. It was awesome to wins this award and it was a blessing that the judges really liked and enjoyed the Blondies and awarded me with another 1st place Blue Ribbon!”
These Blondies were Serene’s favorite dish to enter in The State Fair of Texas competition.

Serene has three sisters and two brothers. She says one or more of her siblings will likely also be winners in future competitions at The State Fair of Texas.
